Dr. Erole McLean is a medical oncologist/hematologist who practices primarily in the U.S. Virgin Islands and British Virgin Islands.

She received her medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. Dr. McLean completed her internship and residency training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York then completed her Oncology and Hematology fellowship at Yale Cancer Center.

As a well-respected expert in the field of oncology, the Jamaican-born medical professional is often called upon to represent the medical community and share her expertise as a keynote speaker for conferences, workshops and governmental meetings, as she offers insight and information in an effort to raise awareness about key health issues on a local and global scale.

An oncologist practicing in the Caribbean since 2004, Dr. McLean became aware of the needs of those diagnosed with cancer without insurance or the means to cover the cost of their cancer care.  This prompted her to establish The Healing Hands Worldwide Foundation, which serves to assist in providing no-cost cancer medications and treatment to those who need it the most.
