Our Mission

Healing Hands Worldwide, Inc. (HHW) is a 501 (c)(3) organization that focuses on community engagement projects around healthcare and education for patients in the Caribbean and Africa.  Aimed towards providing no-cost medication and treatment to low-income, uninsured, and underinsured patients with early-stage breast cancer, HHW also serves to provide financial assistance to high-achieving students from underserved communities entering high school.

Who We Are

We are a global community of thinkers, doers, and collaborators, bound together by our Jamaican heritage, as well as our commitment to creating positive change for people of color in the Caribbean and Africa.

We build financial and networking gateways across the Caribbean and Africa to provide more breast cancer treatment options to patients in high-risk areas, as well as educational support options for high-achieving students in under-served communities.

“With an eye towards making a meaningful impact in our community, we are excited to serve, educate, support, and inspire our patients and students towards a healthy, safe and successful future.”

“We need to address breast cancer undertreatment because that contributes to disparities where black women in the Caribbean and elsewhere are not doing as well. If we can work to improve the outcomes by offering the standard of care and start bringing those barriers down, as well as the access to care for our patients, then we have a common goal.”

- Dr. Sheray Ward Chin, M.D., Medical Oncology Liaison
